I founded form + field because I've seen firsthand what's at stake when communication breaks down, and what becomes possible when it succeeds.

My background is in health, crisis, and risk communication, and I've spent my career working where the stakes are high and the margin for unclear messaging is slim. But I'm not just a strategist who works from a distance. I've staffed crisis lines. I've sat with people in the hardest moments of their lives. I've researched what happens when providers and patients can't find the words for the most important conversations. I show up, and that experience of showing up, in community and in practice, is what shapes how I approach every engagement.

I'm also a visual thinker. I studied photography before I studied communication, and that lens has never left me. I see structure, narrative, and meaning in how things are composed, not just what they say, whether I'm building a messaging framework or designing an infographic.

Outside of work, I'm a knitter, a photographer, and a mom who loves making things alongside my daughter. I travel whenever I can, and I'm endlessly curious.
